A Brilliant Career (Conference!)
Julietta has been selected to attend the Natalie Miller Fellowship Brilliant Careers Leadership Conference in Melbourne. The organisers received an overwhelming response to applications, with over 400 expressions of interest received. Julietta looks forward to attending in February!

Julietta directed a number of scenes, including the opening scenes of the two episodes she worked on with the brilliant Miranda Tapsell and Andy Ryan! One of the scenes has been viewed almost 11,000 times on facebook!

Out of a record-breaking 452 applications, Julietta’s project Sunshine (with producer Eva Di Blasio and writer Lou Sanz) was one of 45 'Brilliant Stories' to be funded through Screen Australia’s Gender Matters initiative.

This Baby is a Hot Shot!
Julietta and producer Eva di Blasio are one of eight teams to receive Hot Shots short film funding from Screen Australia to bring Gloria Harrison's short story Let's See How Fast This Baby Will Go (as featured on the This American Life podcast) to the screen!

Victims of Crime Awareness Week
Earlier this year Julietta worked with the Department of Justice in Melbourne to direct a series of short films, sharing the experiences of people who had had someone in their family murdered.
The films have just been released to coincide with Victims of Crime Awareness Week in Victoria.

Amongst other acclaimed nominees Alex Ryan (Ngurrumbang) Josh Tanner (The Landing) and Sean Kruck (Snowblind), Julietta took home the award at a packed ceremony at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney .

Sydneysiders who missed Sam's Gold on ABC1 can see it this Wednesday 5th as part of the fabulous WOW Film Festival! It plays at the Parliament House Theatre from 9:30am. The Minister for Women, Hon. Pru Goward will open the event and Julietta will speak afterwards at a Meet the Filmmaker segment.
