Festival love from the USA

Safe continues its marathon festival run by being selected for the New Hope Film Festival in  Pennsylvania, USA. The Festival Chairman and CEO had these lovely words to say about Safe in an email to Julietta: ' We're honored to exhibit your film at New Hope Film Festival! The judges have been raving about the quality of your work, and in fact one is so hooked, she's watched it a number of times.' A very good start to 2013!

Fun all 'round!

Safe picks up Best Sound Design at the Canberra Short Film Festival and will soon screen in St Louis! The Branch has been selected to screen at Sandfly Film Festival and Sam's Gold is offered international distribution before the film even premieres!

A trip to Italy!

Two of Julietta's short films, Safe and The Branch have been selected to screen at Salento International Film Festival in Italy!

Why thank you!

'A great original story'

Vegas baby, Vegas!

One of Julietta's short film scripts has been selected as a finalist for the Vegas Cine Fest screenwriting prize.

The prize is worth over $14000 US and will mean that the film will be produced in the States.

Partying with Ewan McGregor's grandma! (a.k.a. Edinburgh International Film Festival's Talent Lab!)

Julietta has just returned from the Edinburgh International Film Festival's Talent Lab where she was one of  only 35 filmmakers worldwide selected to participate.

At the Talent Lab, Julietta had the opportunity to discuss her work in 1-2-1 meetings with high profile industry insiders; attend industry seminars and take part in a pitching event. There were also some entertaining fringe benefits such as attending the premiere and after-party of Ewan McGregor's latest film PERFECT SENSE (the lovely man took his grandma as his date) and learning traditional Scottish dance at a Ceilidh (where she was literally spun off her feet!).
